Dr. Mohamad Rahwan is a highly skilled and compassionate neurologist dedicated to providing exceptional medical care to improve the lives of patients living with epilepsy and other neurological disorders.

Dr. Rahwan firmly believes that successful management of illnesses comes from listening to patients’ concerns, providing thorough but simple explanations, and empowering patients’ participation in their own evidence-based treatment plan.

Dr. Rahwan earned his medical degree from the University of Aleppo, in Syria. Passionate about advanced education in the field of neurology, he moved to the United States where he did a post-doctoral fellowship in EEG and Epilepsy at Case Western Reserve University (University Hospitals) in Cleveland, OH. After that he moved to Charleston, South Carolina and completed four years of Neurology residency, followed by two years subspecialty fellowships in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). In 2021, Dr. Rahwan moved back to Ohio and joined TriHealth aiming to provide excellent care for patients in this community.

In his leisure time, he loves to spend time with his wife and three young children. He enjoys gardening and photography.
