When Dr. Nicholas Van Benschoten dropped 50+ pounds in college, he noticed a significant health improvement. That spurred his fascination with medicine and a desire to help others achieve the same health benefits. He values the opportunity to establish lifelong partnerships with his patients, helping them improve chronic conditions and enhance their overall quality of life.
Dr. Van Benschoten sees patients 18 years and older for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. He is particularly interested in nutrition, weight management and obesity medicine. He also can perform minor skin procedures and osteopathic manipulative treatments in the office. Dr. Van Benschoten creates a safe environment where patients will be heard and their concerns will be given priority. He encourages everyone to avoid drinking soda and sugar-filled beverages as a small step toward general health.
A native Cincinnatian, Dr. Van Benschoten is interested in drawing and painting, as well as pickleball, fossil collecting, hiking, exercise, reading and cooking.
