After serving seven years as a hospitalist seeing patients for short periods, Dr. Niharika Joolukuntla wants to develop long-term relationships with her patients, helping them through their life changes. Seeing the impact that health care had on her grandparents’ lives influenced Dr. Joolukuntla’s decision to become a physician. She wants to make a positive impact on her community by helping people lead better and healthier lifestyles.

Dr. Joolukuntla sees adult patients for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness. She likes to focus on nutrition and lifestyle changes. She creates a safe and non-judgmental space where patients and their families can share concerns and issues impacting their health. She believes in working together to improve the quality of her patients’ lives. Dr. Joolukuntla encourages everyone to eat healthy and avoid a sedentary lifestyle by exercising regularly.

Dr. Joolukuntla grew up in San Antonio, TX, and met her husband, a TriHealth Family Medicine physician and Cincinnati native, during medical training. They are happy to be raising their family in Cincinnati.
