Access was the problem in this case. Broken wrist needed surgery / surgery was scheduled with a specialist very quickly. Attempting to get pre op physical and PC referral was CHALLENGING. It worked only b/c my husband happened to have an appt with Beiter and he was willing to step in to refer and do the physical. The original comment from the office staff member was "you might need to reschedule your surgery" . . . Yikes! After being a patient in this practice for Many many years, I didn't feel very "cared for". To be clear - This is a positive comment about Dr Beiter who kindly stepped in, and a negative comment concerning accessibility of service needed. MyChart was not "user friendly" when I attempted to give information to my PCP.
