About Me

Conditions I specialize in
  • Family Medicine

Dr. Peter Nguyen’s parents, who emigrated from Vietnam after the war there, emphasized education as the key to future success. Guided toward pre-med during college, Dr. Nguyen loved learning about all aspects of medicine. Rather than choose one specialty, he decided to focus on the broad spectrum and community orientation of family medicine.

As a board-certified physician, Dr. Nguyen sees ages 16 and older for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness. He is especially interested in mental health and preventive medicine. Dr. Nguyen uses his peaceful and cheerful attitude to put patients at ease, building a continuing relationship through genuine concern for their wellbeing. He likes to review all options with patients, supporting them in their final decisions. He listens carefully and provides the information his patients need to live well. Dr. Nguyen encourages everyone to do what makes them happy as the ultimate path to healthy living.

Dr. Nguyen is married to another TriHealth physician. Both grew up in the Cincinnati area and are happy to return home to raise their two children. Dr. Nguyen enjoys cars, video games, outdoor activities, home projects and sports, including weightlifting.
