Dr. Robert Richter chose medicine as a career because he excelled in the sciences, enjoyed helping others and found medicine both challenging and fascinating. He also comes from a long line of physicians his father, Ralph, was a popular orthopedic surgeon in Cincinnati. Two brothers are also physicians.
Board certified in both Physical Medicine and electrodiagnostic medicine, Dr. Richter has more than 20 years of experience conducting electromyograms (EMG). He focuses on proper diagnosis, using EMG when needed, to improve function and assist with pain management. He believes the keys to recovery are staying motivated and taking a proactive role in your treatment. He sees rehabilitation as a team effort, involving both physician and patient.
