Conditions I specialize in
  • Dermatology

Dr. Samantha Sears grew up in eastern Tennessee where her parents kept medical books and encyclopedias. She was always looking up conditions and soon came to love medicine. In college, she thought she would get her master’s degree in psychology. After taking a year off, however, her husband encouraged her to pursue her real dream – to become a doctor.

A board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Sears comes to TriHealth with a year of experience. She sees patients age 1 and above for the diagnosis and treatment of conditions that affect the skin, hair and nails. She is especially interested in pigment disorders and hair loss. She likes to forge a partnership with patients, assuring that they understand their diagnoses and can take an active part in their care. Working with her patients allows her to create treatment plans that fit into their lifestyles. She strives to be compassionate and open-minded so she can address any concerns. Dr. Sears encourages everyone to wear sunscreen and protective clothing in the sun.

Now widowed, Dr. Sears has two children and loves spending time with them. The family enjoys movie nights, board and card games, and dance parties. Dr. Sears also likes to bake and read.
