To support the initiation and completion of research studies, funding opportunities are available.

Awards are granted twice a year, in the fall and spring, through a process supported by Academic Research. Requests are made through filling out a grant application, which must be accompanied by a research protocol with a detailed budget.

GSH Foundation Medical Education Research Fund (MERF)

The GSH Foundation Medical Education Research Fund invites residents and fellows at TriHealth sponsored GME programs to submit their proposals for a study that requires funding support. Requests are made through filling out a MERF Grant Application, which must be accompanied by a research protocol with a detailed budget. Applicants are evaluated on originality, scientific rigor and potential impact on improvement in medical care for TriHealth patients.

Bethesda Foundation

Active and teaching members of the Bethesda medical staff (including medical residents and fellows) and other Bethesda healthcare providers (such as nurses, pharmacists, physical therapists etc.) whom actively support Bethesda Hospital in the fulfillment of its mission are encouraged to apply for research grant..
