TriHealth is seeking ambitious, energetic Internal Medicine physicians to join our outstanding Hospitalist team. We are welcoming Nocturnists as well.

  • Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
  • Practicing physicians and residents in all years of training are encouraged to apply.

The positions require an Internal Medicine physician (MD or DO) with a current unrestricted state medical license. Candidates should also have unrestricted federal and state DEA certification along with current BLS, ACLS certifications.

Opportunity

TriHealth’s team of more than 70 board-certified and board-eligible Hospitalists provide efficient, high-quality care around the clock to patients at our award-winning hospitals throughout the system. This hospital-employed opportunity offers competitive pay with additional compensation for both extra shifts and RVUs produced above the floor.

Duties

  • Following each patient's treatment and progress from the time they are admitted to the hospital until they are released
  • Maintaining frequent contact with the patient's Primary Care physician
  • Following up on and ordering new tests
  • Adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure each patient receives the best care possible
  • Working with each specialist, nurse and clinical hospital staff member to integrate patient care
  • Streamlining communication to promote quality outcomes for the patient
