TriHealth On Call: Successful Treatment of A-Fib

It is estimated that almost six million people are walking around with atrial fibrillation, or A-Fib and many of them don’t even know it. A-Fib is when the upper chamber of your heart beats faster than the bottom part of your heart. In this segment of TriHealth On Call, Gaurang Gandhi, MD, an electrophysiologist with the TriHealth Heart Institute talks about some of the most common symptoms and risks of A-Fib and explains some minimally-invasive treatment options. We also hear from Bob Crable, a patient of Dr. Gandhi, who experienced A-Fib off and on for years, until he reached a point where he knew he needed help. After receiving treatment from Dr. Gandhi, he has been free of A-Fib for more than two years.
