Health Talk Live: Honoring Our Heroes at the Superbowl

Among the lucky few in attendance at the recent Superbowl were 7,500 vaccinated healthcare workers from around the U.S. who were given the honor as thanks for their care and dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this segment of TriHealth’s Health Talk Live, Local 12’s Liz Bonis speaks with Robin Hayes, a registered nurse who works in the intensive care unit (ICU) at TriHealth’s Bethesda Butler Hospital. Hayes was selected as a TriHealth team member to attend the game as a special thank you. She shares with Liz what the honor means to hear, as well as her personal story of what led her to a career in nursing and why she felt called to return to working in the ICU from a management position when the pandemic hit. She also gives a well-deserved shout out to all of her nursing colleagues who have stepped up during this time.
