TriHealth has opened its fourth Priority Care location in the Oxford McCullough-Hyde Medical Building at 5151 Morning Sun Road. TriHealth Priority Care provides unscheduled, walk-in care for non-emergency illness and injuries.

“TriHealth Priority Care locations are an ideal choice for patients with medical issues that need to be seen promptly but don’t rise to the level of an emergency room visit,” said Steve Mombach, Senior Vice President, Ambulatory Services/Network Development. “They serve as a great complement to primary care physicians and student health centers.”

TriHealth Priority Care-Oxford offer walk in care and has been serving the Oxford and Miami University communities on weekends for over two years, will now see patients 7 days per week, Monday through Friday 11 am to 7 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm.  Our expert medical staff includes physicians, nurse practitioners and certified medical assistants.  In addition to care for minor injuries and illnesses, services offered at all TriHealth Priority Care locations include X-rays and lab work related to the visit and workplace injury care.

No appointment is necessary and patients will be treated promptly, much less time than it takes for a patient with a minor ailment to be seen by a doctor in a hospital emergency room. Insurance co-pays at TriHealth Priority Care locations are similar to doctor office visits.

“TriHealth Priority care locations in Anderson, Mason and Westwood have been successful throughout the Greater Cincinnati area, and we are happy to bring this level of care to the Oxford and the Miami University community,” added Mombach.

Through TriHealth's electronic medical record system, a current TriHealth patients' medical history is seamlessly available to the Priority Care physician, increasing diagnostic speed and accuracy. Additionally, the details of a patient's visit to Priority Care are available to their TriHealth primary care physician or to the  patients community physician.  The Priority Care team is also able to assist with a referral to a Primary Care Physician or Specialist if needed.
