Anisha Janardhanan, RN, FNP-C, WHNP-C, has always wanted to help people. As a 12-year-old, she got her first exposure to nursing when she learned how to give her mother insulin shots. She started work as a registered nurse in a neonatal unit, where she learned to treat newborns with breathing problems. That experience sparked a love for pulmonology, which she continues to cultivate as a certified nurse practitioner.

Anisha now works with adults diagnosed with sleep disorders, helping them with treatment and management of their conditions. She creates a casual environment for patients where she encourages them to discuss anything that may impact sleep. She believes in counseling and educating patients on all aspects of their health, stressing that everything is connected. Anisha encourages everyone to get back to basics, especially with healthy eating.

A native of New York, Anisha moved to Ohio with her husband several years ago. She loves playing board games and cards. She also enjoys reading, cooking and entertaining.

Anisha was very good about explaining my needs and care. She took the time to talk to me as a person and not just as the next patient. She was very helpful and listened to any concerns or questions I had. She had a very easy going approach during my appointment and never made me feel like I was just another patient. I would recommend her to anyone.

N.P. Was honest in her assessment and said so. I explained the issues of why the issues occurred. She explained to me that the therapy was incredibly important to my condition.
