Trips to the hospital to visit family and watching the capable health care
workers there inspired Rommel Padillo, FNP, to become a nurse. With
more than 15 years of nursing experience in various settings, he earned
his nurse practitioner certification to advance his education and skills. He
originally became interested in sleep medicine when he wrote a paper on
shift work disorder during his bachelor’s degree studies.
Rommel works with adults diagnosed with sleep disorders, helping
them with treatment and management of their conditions. He wants his
patients to feel comfortable in a non-judgmental space where they can
talk openly about their concerns. He believes in working together with
his patients to find the right solution for their individual issues. Rommel
encourages everyone to recognize the importance of quality sleep on
overall health.
A native of the Philippines, Rommel came to Cincinnati in 2007. He
is an active member of the Philippine Nurses Association of America
Cincinnati - Northern Kentucky Chapter. A cat and dog lover, Rommel
enjoys travel and watching TV.
