Growing up in New Jersey with no health insurance and no primary care doctor, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur became determined to broaden access to care for all people. She chose to become a family medicine doctor to merge her passions for science and helping people live their best lives, both physically and mentally.
Dr. Kaur provides comprehensive care to entire families from newborns to geriatrics and has a keen interest in pediatrics, women’s health and addictions counseling. Dr. Kaur believes in getting to know her patients as people and views them as family members, assuring they get the best quality of care possible. By creating an atmosphere of trust and compassion, she wants patients to feel comfortable discussing any health concern. She is an advocate for her patients, dedicated to supporting them in their desire to lead a healthy life. She empowers patients with knowledge so they can make the best choices for their lifestyles.
Dr. Kaur and her husband enjoy gardening, travel and cooking. She enjoys listening to all genres of American and Indian music, loves to sing and has played the harmonium since childhood. She also likes yoga, meditation, badminton, rollerblading and working out.
