Kaelah Payne, FNP-C, has always been a caretaker with family members and friends, and finds deep satisfaction from having a hand in helping people. She began her career as a registered nurse in the emergency department and served on the front line during the COVID pandemic. Wanting to grow in her career, she returned to school to earn her nurse practitioner certification. She worked several years as a nurse practitioner in urgent care and aesthetics before coming to TriHealth.
Kaelah sees patients with headache and migraine disorders for diagnosis, prevention and treatment. She suffers from migraine as well, so she easily relates to her patients’ needs. Kaelah likes to build rapport with her patients, helping them feel safe, comfortable and confident with her care. She encourages everyone to take a few minutes everyday to reflect on things they’re grateful for, creating a positive outlook to cultivate happiness and success.
Kaelah and her husband have two young sons. A native of Waynesville, OH, she is active in her church community. She loves to read and recently started making sourdough bread.
