Dr. Tymitz is an experienced general and bariatric surgeon with TriHealth Weight Management and is part of Group Health and the TriHealth Surgical Institute.
Dr. Tymitz received his medical degree from the University of Toledo and completed his surgical residency at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati. He received specialized training in weight-loss surgery at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, as a clinical fellow in minimally invasive, robotic and bariatric surgery.
Dr. Tymitz is board certified in general surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract.
