When Lindsey Crawford, DO, delivered her first baby during her medical school training, she knew she had found her calling in medicine. That experience, coupled with the opportunity to provide care to women through all of the most important times in their life, inspired her to pursue a career in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Crawford provides general obstetric and gynecologic care to patients of all ages, from adolescent patients to post-menopausal patients. She is trained to perform minimally-invasive gynecological surgery procedures and also offers in-office procedures. Dr. Crawford is particularly interested in working with adolescent patients. Realizing this is a critical time in the physical, emotional, and social development of young women, she seeks to serve as an advocate for their health and a sounding board for their questions and concerns.
Dr. Crawford looks forward to partnering with patients to ensure they have a complete understanding of their health condition or treatment options. Dr. Crawford does deliveries at Bethesda North Hospital.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and outdoor activities.
