About Me

Conditions I specialize in
  • Midwifery

When Sapphira Pranger, CNM, was 10, she followed her
mother’s pregnancy closely, starting a lifelong desire
to help women to fulfill their natural capabilities. She
relates well with teens, having been a teen mom who is
now raising teenagers. A very giving and caring person,
Sapphira started her career in 2016 as a registered nurse,
moving into labor and delivery for six years before gaining
her midwife certification.
Sapphira sees women throughout their childbearing years
and into menopause for obstetric and gynecological care.
She supports and cares for women during pregnancy,
labor and birth. As a certified midwife, she prescribes
medications, orders tests and makes referrals to
specialists. Sapphira puts her patients’ needs and desires at
the center of her care. She creates a safe, non-judgmental
environment and encourages patients to speak their truth.
She empowers them to make the most informed decisions
for their health and care. Sapphira encourages everyone
to communicate regularly with their healthcare providers,
attending annual exams, following up with test results and
inquiring about any health issues.
A Fort Wayne, Ind., native, Sapphira and her partner have
four children. She enjoys traveling, shopping, hiking, trying
new foods and meeting new people. She is also active in
her church community.
