Sara Lyons, MD, enjoys the diversity of her day-to-day practice, which in a given day can have her traveling from an office visit to the OR and then to the delivery room. While this variety keeps her on her toes, she finds continuity in her practice though the relationships she develops with her patients.
Dr. Lyons provides a comprehensive range of gynecologic and obstetric care for women in every phase of life. She specializes in minimally invasive surgeries, including laparoscopic single incision surgery for hysterectomy and oophorectomy (ovary removal). These procedures allow patients better outcomes and quicker recoveries. She also provides complete prenatal care and delivery for normal and high risk pregnancies. Dr. Lyons is an advocate for regular well women care and encourages patients to take time to care for themselves, which she knows can be a challenge for patients who put their family's needs above their own.
