
TriHealth Audiologists diagnose and treat hearing loss and tinnitus through a comprehensive approach, partnered with our ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) department. Our team has extensive training in the anatomy and physiology of the auditory system to best meet the patient’s need for better hearing.
Comprehensive hearing testing to determine type and degree of hearing loss as well as speech understanding and word recognition.
An information gathering appointment - conversation style with the patient, family, and Audiologist reviewing hearing loss, lifestyle, hearing goals, cost, and expectations to determine the best hearing aid/implant treatment plan.
Receive the ordered hearing aids, fit and program devices based on the patient’s hearing prescription. Orient the patient and family to hearing aid/implant use, care, and maintenance.
During the 60 day trial period, the patient will meet with their Audiologist to fine tune and verify the hearing aid programming based on the patient’s experience. Review of care and maintenance, Bluetooth connectivity, and accessories used with hearing aids.
We recommend annual hearing testing and hearing aid check appointments to keep your devices working optimally.
