Becky Mueller has always worked in food service, and it’s a fact she’s quite proud of.
“It makes me feel good…knowing what I do makes a difference in someone’s life, giving them that homecooked feel,” says Becky, a TriHealth food nutritionist.
Despite being content with her previous place of employment, Becky’s priorities shifted following the passing of her father, and she knew that she wanted to be involved somehow with helping people feel better.
With almost two decades of experience working in food service, it made sense to Becky to try and find a connection to the medical world through a skillset she had already spent so much time developing.
“I wanted to work in a hospital with patients… I wanted to go into the food department there and interact with patients that way,” she recalls.
Becky has been with Bethesda North Hospital for three years now, and says that she has truly enjoyed her time so far.
“I don’t feel gloomy coming to work… I’m actually excited to go every day.”
