New Patients and Expecting Parents

Institutes & Services > Primary Care > Pediatrics > New Patients and Expecting Parents

Having a baby is a life changing experience. We would be honored to walk with you through your journey as your child’s pediatrician. A pediatrician is more than someone who cares for your child while they are sick. Many visits to the pediatrician include discussions about caring for your newborn, developmental milestones, growth, and safety. TriHealth aims to provide the highest level of care while showing compassion and kindness to all our patients.

From birth until adulthood, TriHealth doctors are excited to care for your child. Our hospitals offer high level maternity and neonatal care. Our pediatricians are connected to numerous specialists who can also care for your children. Having specialists within our system allows for more efficient referrals and streamlined care for you and your child. Once your child reaches adulthood, our pediatricians will help facilitate the transfer of care to one of the Internal Medicine or Family Medicine doctors. Across the board, our doctors are committed to service and would be honored to serve your family.

Transferring Records

If you have not already arranged to have your medical records forwarded to TriHealth, we will request that your records be sent to us.

To protect patient confidentiality, TriHealth is required to obtain a Medical Records Release form – signed and dated by the patient (or parent for minors) – for the release of medical records, including X-rays and immunization records.

If you move, we will transfer your records to your new physician when you request it. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for the transfer to occur. There is no charge for medical records sent directly to another physician. However, there is a fee (based on the number of pages and accessibility) for records requested for personal use, by an attorney or by an insurance company.
