At Tristate Gynecologic Oncology, we strive to provide efficient, quality care, in order to accelerate the healing process so our patients can lead normal lives, free of discomfort and pain. Our friendly staff works to allay fears through a patient-centered approach that focuses on each individual’s privacy and comfort.
The vast majority of patients seen in our office are referrals from other physicians or healthcare providers. These patients have a diagnosis of cancer or precancer, are suspected of having a cancer, have a strong family history of female cancer, or have a complex gynecologic surgical problem.
It is mandatory that we have copies of your pertinent medical records before your appointment in the office. These records can be faxed to (513) 862-3616 or mailed ahead of time to the office. Our address is: The Good Samaritan Women's Center for Specialized Care, GS Medical Office Building, Suite 100, 3219 Clifton Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45220. Our phone number is (513) 862-1888
If you would like to be seen in our office and do not have a referral, we would need to review your medical records to determine whether an office appointment would be appropriate.
We work with highly skilled nurse practitioners in our offices. They have specialized oncology training and work in collaboration with our physicians. Sometimes a nurse practitioner will see you for your appointment. Rarely, unexpected surgical delays can interfere with office hours and your scheduled appointment. We understand that your time is extremely valuable and will work hard to inform you as soon as possible prior to your arrival if a delay is to occur. We will strive to accommodate your schedule as much as possible.
You may have questions after your visit or between visits. We have an oncology nurse at each office who is able to answer most questions. We strongly prefer that you call between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. If our oncology nurses are unable to answer your question, they will consult with your physician and get back with you as soon as possible. If a life-threatening emergency occurs, please go immediately to the emergency room at the hospital and ask them to contact your physician.
Please call the respective office and speak with the oncology nurse. Have the name of medication, dosage, and pharmacy number available when you call. Prescription questions should be taken care of during the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
