Initially an intensive care nurse, Dr. Wurzbacher decided she wanted to further her education and expand her focus to include both office and surgical care. She most enjoyed the obstetrics-gynecology rotation, recognizing how even a simple office visit can make such a big difference in a woman’s life.
Dr. Wurzbacher sees adolescent and adult women for all obstetrics and gynecology concerns, including contraception management and infertility. She believes in getting to know about her patients on a personal level before delving into medical issues. She encourages her patients to ask questions and share their concerns with her. Dr. Wurzbacher loves helping women and educating them about their bodies through the different stages of life.
A native of Cincinnati, Dr. Wurzbacher and her husband combined have eight children. She is involved in her parish and volunteers at her children’s schools. She enjoys reading, walking her Labradoodle, biking, traveling with her husband and time in Hilton Head with her family.
