For Dr. Doug Thompson, his desire to form meaningful relationships with others led him to a passion for medicine. He found a natural home in family medicine, where he seeks to establish long-term relationships with his patients.
Dr. Thompson sees patients from age 8 through centenarians for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Also certified in sports medicine, he is passionate about all musculoskeletal problems. He provides non‑operative orthopedic care for athletes and weekend warriors. He is trained in using ultrasound imaging for orthopedic injections. Dr. Thompson sees his role as an educator, helping his patients understand all aspects of conditions and treatments so they can make informed decisions. He encourages everyone to take a first small step toward positive change on the journey to improved health.
A proud native Cincinnatian, Dr. Thompson grew up on the west side and now lives in West Chester with his wife and two sons. As an avid sports fan, he supports local Cincinnati teams and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends.
