Kelli Ames, PA-C, loves helping patients get back to doing what they love. Observing her father, who is an orthopedic surgeon, piqued her interest in medicine. After a year and a half in the emergency department, she decided to specialize in orthopedics, where she finds many concerns can be addressed so that patients can get back to an active life.
As a certified physician assistant, Kelli works with the orthopedic surgeon’s team to provide comprehensive care for hip, knee and shoulder issues. She provides care before, during and after surgery. She also performs joint injections and castings. Kelli likes to make patients comfortable and listens carefully to their needs, providing the answers they seek to live better. She encourages everyone to take an active role in their health care, learning what they need to do to help the healing process.
A native of Dayton, OH, Kelli is married. She likes to stay active by running, biking and backpacking. She also enjoys baking.
