Dr. Nathan Huber sees patients of all ages for acute
care, emergency and trauma surgeries. Prior to his role
at TriHealth, Dr. Huber worked 13 years in a physicianowned
practice and served as medical director of acute
care surgery. He brings extensive experience in robotic
surgery, allowing for surgery through a smaller incision
with enhanced precision.
Dr. Huber completed surgery residency at the University
of Cincinnati and later returned to this area from his
home state of Indiana to work with TriHealth’s highly
skilled Acute Care and Trauma Surgery team.
Deeply committed to his patients, Dr. Huber believes that
fostering close patient-physician relationships through
open communication improves outcomes. He encourages
patients to return to mobility and strengthening exercise
as soon as possible in their recovery from injury or other
illnesses that require surgery.
Dr. Huber is married with five children. His hobbies
include keeping up with their sports and outdoor
interests, plus exploring new trails on his mountain
bike. Volunteering his time and skills globally in mission
hospital settings also remains a career-long passion.
