Rima Rusnak, MD, joined TriHealth from Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where she served as the medical director for its urgent care network for the past two years. Board certified in Pediatrics, she completed her pediatrics residency and chief residency at Cincinnati Children's before continuing on as a staff physician with the Division of Emergency Medicine for nearly ten years. Throughout her career, she held various leadership positions before being named Urgent Care Medical Director in 2013. Dr. Rusnak is excited to spend time engaging directly with patients and their families in the general pediatrics setting while still tapping into her emergency medicine skill set by providing in-office services such as suturing and splinting. Her desire for continuity of care guided her return to general pediatrics and she looks forward to being a part of each patient's journey from infancy to early adulthood. Dr. Rusnak treats pediatric and adolescent patients, from newborns through the age of 21, for a wide variety of common acute and chronic conditions, including: Common childhood illnesses (e.g., viral infections, ear infections, rashes) well-child visits and sports physicals, asthma and allergies, obesity and nutrition, Injuries and wound care, behavioral problems. Currently, Dr. Rusnak is accepting patients who are newborns as well as patients of siblings already established with her practice.
