An advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist, Dr. Kesari is the medical director of the Advanced Heart Failure (ADHF), MCS/LVAD, and Pulmonary Hypertension programs at the TriHealth Heart & Vascular Institute. He has been instrumental in developing the following programs and clinics: LVAD (left ventricular assist device), Myocardial Recovery, Pulmonary Hypertension, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, Heart Failure Readmission, and Virtual Heart Failure at TriHealth.
He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology.
Taking a holistic approach, Dr. Kesari and his team work to understand patients’ symptoms, disease, values, and goals to formulate individual treatment plans. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology and a team-based approach fosters patient-provider communication and delivery of superior care. The ADHF clinic has a multi-disciplinary approach with the help of dieticians, social workers, genetic counselors, nurses, medical assistants, VAD coordinators, palliative care physicians, pharmacists, and nurse practitioners/physician assistants.
Dr. Kesari is involved in international Heart Failure/Cardiogenic shock, American Heart Association’s Get with the Guidelines, and INTERMACS registries. He has strong interest in leveraging the latest technology and clinical trials to the benefit of his patients.
