The Cincinnati Reds and the rest of Major League Baseball are not the only teams returning to the field after a late start due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Players of all levels and ages have also returned to diamond and playing fields, many after a long layoff from their usual training and preparation. What affect has that delay and lack of preparation had on the frequency of injuries?
