The TriHealth Heart Institute offers cardiac resynchronization therapy to help patients control their heart rhythm, and more importantly, improve their quality of life.
How Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Works
This treatment for heart failure uses an electrical device to help the heart chambers get back in the same rhythm and make the heart more efficient in its ability to pump blood throughout the body. The computer device has leads implanted to help carry electric pulses to your heart from the monitor.
This device is programmed by a computer at the physician’s office and is monitored throughout therapy. Our goal is to improve the heart’s function so you can lead a normal life, free from the debilitating effects of heart problems.
