Amy Murphy DO

Dr. Murphy is a graduate of the University of Miami, Florida, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. She obtained her medical degree from Midwestern College, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014 and received her surgical training at TriHealth in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Prior to joining Trauma Services in 2020, Dr. Murphy completed her Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2020. She is double-board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. She not only has expertise in Acute Care and Trauma Surgery, Dr. Murphy is an expert in Critical Care Medicine.

Ashley Tameron MD

Dr. Tameron is a graduate of the University of Miami where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. She obtained her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2013 and received her surgical training at TriHealth in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to joining Trauma Services in 2019, Dr. Tameron completed her Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at The Ohio State University She is double boarded in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. She not only has expertise in Acute Care and Trauma Surgery, Dr. Tameron is an expert in Critical Care Medicine.

Racheal Burroughs ACNP-BC, ACNPC
Trauma Nurse Practitioner

Racheal is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at the University of Cincinnati then graduated from Northern Kentucky University with her Masters. Racheal works closely with the trauma surgeons to plan, implement and evaluate health care treatments to ensure the patients are receiving the highest level of care. She also works closely with Case Managers, Social Workers, and Financial Counselors to help coordinate the discharge process.

Katie Stegman MSN, RN, CEN, TCRN, EMT-P
Trauma Program Manager

Katie Stegman has over 25 years of experience in emergency medicine and critical care and has a passion for trauma. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University and her master’s degree in nursing administration from Mount St. Joseph University in 2018.

As the Trauma Program Manager, Katie works closely with the Trauma Medical Directors and is responsible for the organization of services and systems necessary for a multidisciplinary approach to providing care to injured patients. She also provides trauma related education at the hospital and in the community.

Sharon Garry B.S. Ed
Hamilton County Safe Communities Coordinator

Sharon has been a TriHealth Team Member since 1989 after graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s in Education. She has held various positions in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Good Samaritan and Trauma Services at Bethesda North. Sharon’s current role is Hamilton County Safe Communities Grant Coordinator. She is responsible for managing a $100,000 grant awarded from the State of Ohio to educate, promote and highlight traffic safety initiatives. Sharon collaborates with community partners such as law enforcement, city officials, health care professionals and high schools within Hamilton County to promote traffic safety. Through her initiatives and partnerships, she attends many public engagements and provides education which is the foundation to a cohesive/complete approach to decrease incidents of traffic crashes, ultimately saving lives throughout Hamilton County.
