Approximately 2,000 cases of malaria are diagnosed in the U.S. each year with the majority associated with travel to countries with known malaria transmissions. (CDC.gov) Additionally, the recent pandemic was a reminder how quickly requirements for entry into countries may change. Several countries in Africa and South American require having a Yellow Fever vaccine in order to apply for a visa and upon entrance to the country. TriHealth wants to keep you safe when traveling outside of the U.S. Scheduling a travel consult can provide you the necessary measures to remain healthy while enjoying your international trip.
