Inspired to become a nurse by her grandmother,
Anne Sterling, CNP, has more than 20 years of nursing
experience, seeing GI patients since 2012. Anne’s
grandmother died at an early age from breast cancer
and is memorialized with a continuing education fund
for nurses at Good Samaritan Hospital. Anne serves as
co-chair of the Mary Ann McGrath Nursing Education
Endowment.
As a certified nurse practitioner, Anne sees adults for
acute and chronic illnesses of the gastrointestinal tract,
including Crohn’s disease, liver disease, ulcerative
colitis and gastroesophageal reflux disease. She fosters
a collaborative relationship with her patients, helping
them feel heard. She finds it quite rewarding to see her
patients fully participating in life after treatment for their
GI issues.
Anne is married and has two daughters and a dog. She
likes to garden, read, watch reality TV and keep her kids
busy with sports and other adventures.
