Dr. Piush Gupta brings more than 20 years of experience in diagnosing and managing diverse gastrointestinal conditions to his practice. Knowing he wanted to pursue medicine from a young age, he attended medical school directly out of high school in India before moving to the United States for residency and fellowship training.
As a board-certified gastroenterologist, Dr. Gupta treats adults for problems with the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, liver and pancreas. He performs various upper and lower GI endoscopy procedures and capsule endoscopy to visualize the small bowel. Dr. Gupta enjoys getting to know his patients and working with them to achieve their goals. He believes in clear communication to help patients understand their issues. Dr. Gupta encourages everyone to pay attention to lifestyle issues that can affect well-being, like healthy eating, smoking and alcohol usage.
Dr. Gupta is married and has one son. He likes traveling, walking and hiking.
