Medication Assisted Treatment

Depending on the situation, the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at the TriHealth Bethesda Addiction Recovery Center can include medication-assisted treatment.

Medication is only prescribed to patients who agree to participate in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

  • Treating withdrawal symptoms
  • Increasing the likelihood of a person remaining in a recovery program
  • Reducing the likelihood of relapses

This treatment has been endorsed by the state of Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and recognized by most major insurance companies.

Additional Medications

Other medications that are used to treat withdrawal and support recovery for alcohol and drug addiction are available in the program.
