Our medically managed program includes access to professional care from a multi-disciplinary team to include specialty certified bariatricians, dieticians, nurses and psychologists. They have a focus on helping you with weight loss while monitoring and promoting positive impact to your overall health.

Using the Medgem Measurement device, we are able to calculate your BMR/RMR (which is the number of calories your burn at rest each day). You will breathe normally into a mouthpiece, while at rest, for 5-10 minutes. For best results, you are advised not to eat, exercise or smoke for about 4 fours before the testing. You receive results immediately and our bariatricians will use your results to help choose your meal plan with you to include the correct caloric intake.
Fresh Steps is a meal replacement plan for weight loss. TriHealth Weight Management incorporates the Fresh Steps products in combination with supervised physician and dietitian visits. The plan is easy to follow and is full of variety and great taste. By using the protein drinks, protein bars, protein pastas, protein soups and egg meals, the plan will assist you with losing weight and will teach you how to keep the weight off.
The Fresh Steps Plan is specially formulated to work based on the obesity treatment science of using high-quality protein-filled meal replacements, portion, carbohydrate, and calorie control principles in daily meal planning. This combination allows the body to achieve favorable fat loss while preserving lean muscle mass.
Fresh Steps can be used as a full plan or a partial plan. Patients who start on a full plan will gradually start adding fresh foods to the meal replacements and then graduate to incorporating fresh grocery meals for maintenance. Fresh Steps offers a cookbook with recipes for each of the protein bases with fresh ingredients to help transition to eating more fresh, whole foods. The program also offers help with grocery lists and sample grocery meals as the patient transitions to eating more fresh foods.

Weight loss medications can be prescribed to help assist in your weight loss program after it has been determined that it is a safe and effective tool for you. While on weight loss medications, you must be carefully monitored.
