Geriatric Services

McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital assists senior patients by helping them master the essential activities of daily living to their highest potential. Our occupational therapists evaluate and develop strategies and skills to help patients become self-sufficient. Therapeutic activities are goal-directed and designed to assist individuals in adapting to their physical and social environment.

Our physical, occupational and speech therapists evaluate and treat patients with a variety of musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, neurological and skin impairments.

Based on initial evaluations, a treatment program and goals are established to achieve improved function, increased mobility, relief of pain, safe feeding and swallowing.
