Your training and medical needs as a competitive or recreational athlete are often very different from those who are less active. As a comprehensive treatment center, we are committed to helping patients regain and maintain active participation in sports, recreational activities and job tasks. Many of our therapists are former Division I college athletes.
Our center features a wide array of services, including preparations and training of athletes, injury prevention, extensive diagnostic services, physical and aquatic therapy and short/long term rehabilitation. We schedule "one-on-one" time with a physical therapist who will work with you through your treatment period.
At McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, we believe that patients should be treated by the therapist, not an assistant or layperson. Every effort is made to ensure that the same therapist works with the patient throughout the duration of treatment.
When injuries occur, it is especially important to an athlete to return as quickly as possible. Physical therapy can make a difference. Treatment programs are tailored to the special demands of your sport, activity or lifestyle. Our approach is more accelerated than traditional hospital rehabilitation and requires active participation on the part of the patient.
Our physical therapists and athletic trainers work with your physician to map out the best course of action for you.
McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital is committed to the communities we serve by providing athletic trainers for on-site services at area school athletic programs. Their involvement includes games, practices and on field management of injuries. They are a vital link between parents, team doctors, therapists and coaches.
McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Matt Daggy, MD to our medical staff. Dr. Daggy is available for consultation by calling (513) 856-5971.
