TriHealth Advanced Obstetrical Care Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital

TriHealth Advanced Obstetrical Care Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital is an in-patient unit dedicated to caring for women with high-risk pregnancies who require additional care and extra time in the hospital. As a part of a multi-million dollar maternity renovation, the Advanced Obstetrical Care Unit recently moved to a new space within the hospital. We now offer all-private, fully renovated spaces for our high-risk pregnancy patients.

Our goal is to support the health care needs of our patients and make their stay as comfortable as possible. In addition to offering amenities such as high-definition television, wireless Internet access and the Get Well Network, our team will work to provide you with books, puzzles games and more at your request. And to ensure you can be with your family as much as possible, we have flexible visitation policies, including visitation with children and family spaces that can be used for shared meals and more. Official hospital visiting hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., but the hours within Advanced Obstetrical Care are flexible. All children must be with an adult, other than the patient, at all times. Visitation may be restricted during flu season or for other safety concerns.

Since monitoring your condition is especially important during your stay in Advanced Obstetrical Care, we work closely with the Seton Center for Advanced Obstetrics to provide scheduled appointments, usually twice a week, to check on you and your baby’s progress throughout the duration of your stay.
