Bethesda North Hospital ED BedThe Bethesda North Emergency Department offers several specialty services as part of a commitment to provide patients with the best possible care in a variety of situations. They include:

Cardiac Care

The Bethesda North Emergency Department handles more acute heart attacks than any other hospital in Cincinnati

Center for Abuse and Rape Emergency Services (CARES)

Founded in 2010, this program provides help for patients suffering from violent crimes including domestic violence and sexual assault.

Sexual Abuse Nurse Examiner (SANE)

This service began in 1999 to help victims of sexual abuse.  

Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE)

The FNE can team with law enforcement for collection of biological samples and other needs.

Trauma Services

This program provides emergency care, education and training through services including ThinkFirst Injury Prevention for children and adults, simulations and paramedic training.

Decontamination Room

This can be used to treat patients who may have been exposed to dangerous chemicals.

Social Work Care

Social workers are on site from 8 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. daily and are on-call 24/7.

Senior Services Support

With help from TriHealth Seniors' Health, we can access the Navigator to provide seniors with any help they may need.
