The TriHealth Orthopedic trauma program provides Level 3 trauma services for the most serious orthopedic injuries through TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital and TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital.

Orthopedic trauma is a severe injury to the musculoskeletal system. Orthopedic trauma surgeons specialize in complex injuries to muscles, ligaments, tendons and bones.

Highly Qualified Care

TriHealth’s orthopedic trauma surgeon is a fellowship-trained specialist in orthopedic trauma and orthopedic surgery, offering operative and nonoperative management of injuries to both the upper and lower extremities and pelvic ring.

Clinical Focus

In addition to treating trauma patients in emergency situations, Jason Welter DO sees patients in need of complex fracture care. Areas of clinical focus include:

  • Multi-injury trauma patients
  • Pelvic ring and Acetabular fractures
  • Complex periarticular fractures
  • Periprosthetic fractures
  • Long Bone fractures
