TriHealth EAP was established in 1984 as a division of Bethesda Healthcare, Inc. in Cincinnati. Bethesda later merged with Good Samaritan Hospital and became TriHealth. TriHealth EAP now provides services to more than 200 companies both locally and nationally with more than 150,000 people eligible for services.
The mission of TriHealth EAP is to help organizations enhance the productivity and wellness of their human resources by developing, delivering and managing Employee Assistance Services through a dedicated and professional staff. The TriHealth EAP system provides a broad brush approach to employee assistance by offering counseling, direction, support and understanding to employees and family members who may be experiencing any number of life problems. A problem solving action plan is developed with each participant. The goal of this plan is to increase each client's sense of well being and improve his or her level of performance at work and at home.
