Nima R Patel, MD, MS

Nima Patel MD is the Program Director of the TriHealth Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency-Training Program, a partnership of Bethesda North and Good Samaritan Hospitals. Dr. Patel earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 1997. She did an internship in Anesthesiology at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1997 – 1999. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2003 at Marshall University, and then did a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship in 2014 at Drexel University. Dr. Patel is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a member of the Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the Society of Reproductive Investigation.

Edouard Feghali, MD Edouard Feghali MD

Edouard Feghali MD is the Assistant Program Director of the TriHealth Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency-Training Program. Dr. Feghali attended medical school at the French Faculty of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon. His residency training started at the University of North Carolina affiliated hospitals in Wilmington, North Carolina for 2 years and finished at Good Samaritan Hospital. He is a member of the Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Research Committee that reviews residents and attending physician’s clinical research projects and approves funds as appropriate. Dr. Feghali has served as President of the Medical and Dental Staff at Good Samaritan Hospital and is now a member of the Medical Executive Committee. Dr. Feghali is the Chairman of the Quality Assurance Committee of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Steven Johnson FacultySteven Johnson MD

Steven Johnson MD is a faculty member for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program at TriHealth, a partnership of Bethesda North and Good Samaritan Hospitals and DIO, Vice-President of Academic Affairs for TriHealth. Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1994. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan in 1998. Dr. Johnson is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the Academy of Medicine, a Councilor of the Academy of Medicine, a member of the Ohio State Medical Association, and Delegate to the House of Representatives for the Ohio State Medical Association.

Jarred Molitoris MD

Jarred Molitoris MD is the Assistant Program Director and faculty member for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program at TriHealth, a partnership of Bethesda North and Good Samaritan Hospitals. Dr. Molitoris earned his medical degree from Temple University in 2014. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at TriHealth in 2018. Dr. Molitoris is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Roosevelt Walker, III MD

Roosevelt Walker, III MD is the Associate Program Director for the TriHealth Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Training Program and the Associate Medical Director of the Ob/Gyn Centers for Women's Services. Dr. Walker is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where he also received his residency training. Dr. Walker is a diplomate of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. During his career Dr. Walker has served as the President of the Cincinnati Medical Association and as a member of the Board of Health of Cincinnati. Dr. Walker currently serves as a director on the Foundation Board of Trustees of the Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati and as a member of the Diversity Advisory Committee of The Doctors Foundation. Over the course of his career, Dr. Walker has received four outstanding teaching awards from residents.

Fares Alqara MD

Fares Alqara MD is a staff member for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program at TriHealth, a partnership of Bethesda North and Good Samaritan Hospitals. Dr. Alqara is a Laborist and primarily supervises the residents on L&D and the High Risk Service. He earned his Medical degree from Ross University in 2008 and completed residency at Aultman Hospital in 2012. Dr. Alqara is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Jack Basil MDJack Basil MD

Jack Basil, MD is a Gynecologic Oncologist for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital and a member of Tristate Gynecologic Oncology. He graduated from the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio in 1989, and from the College of Medicine at Ohio State in 1993. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Washington University-Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri in 1997, and also completed the Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at Washington University-Barnes Hospital in 2000. He served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia for 4 years. Dr. Basil joined the staff of Good Samaritan Hospital in April 2004. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Basil is also a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. His research interests include cancer prevention and hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. He currently serves as a member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group Cancer Prevention and Control Committee. Dr. Basil is board certified in the subspecialty of Gynecologic Oncology.

Nanci Billock MD

Meredith Carrel-Lammert MD

Meredith Carrel-Lammert MD is a faculty member for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program at TriHealth, a partnership of Bethesda North and Good Samaritan Hospitals. Dr. Carrel-Lammert supervises the residents in the OB/GYN Center and Gynecology Service. Dr. Carrel-Lammert earned her medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine in 2018. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at TriHealth in 2022.

Sandy Cho DO is the Laborist Medical Director and faculty member for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program at TriHealth, a partnership of Bethesda North and Good Samaritan Hospitals. Dr. Cho primarily supervises the residents on L&D and the High Risk Service. Dr. Cho earned her medical degree from the University of New England in 2009. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in 2010. Dr. Cho is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Kristin Coppage MDKristin Coppage MD

 

Kristin Coppage MD is the Women’s Services Director for TriHealth and a staff Perinatologist, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Coppage earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 1998. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital in 2002 and then completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati in 2005. Dr. Coppage a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the American Medical Association. Dr. Coppage is board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Catrina Crisp MDCatrina Crisp MD

Catrina Crisp MD is a Urogynecologist and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeon in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital and co-Director of Resident Research for the TriHealth Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency-Training Program. Dr. Crisp completed her fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital under the direction of Dr. Steven Kleeman in 2012.

Andrea Hinton MD

Andrea Hinton MD is a staff Perinatologist in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Hinton is a native of Charleston, South Carolina. She earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1998. She completed her residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Savannah, Georgia in 2002. She then completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in 2005. Dr. Hinton is a junior fellow in both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She is also a member of the Southern Medical Association. She then completed a Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine in Houston, Texas in 2019. Dr. Hoffman is a Junior Fellow in both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Hoffman is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and board eligible in the subspecialty of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Robert Neff MD is a Gynecologic Oncologist for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital and a member of Tristate Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Neff completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Ohio State University Medical Center and then went onto complete his Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship. Dr. Neff is board eligible in subspecialty of Gynecologic Oncology.

Rachel Pauls MDRachel Pauls MD

Rachel Pauls MD is the Urogynecologist and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeon, and Director of the Center for Female Health in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is an internationally recognized expert in Female Sexual Dysfunction. Following a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Pauls completed fellowship training in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Canada. Dr. Pauls is a widely published and accomplished researcher. She serves as reviewer for 10 peer-reviewed publications and is on the editorial board for The Journal of Sexual Medicine. In addition to her practice with Cincinnati Urological Associates, Dr. Pauls is Co-director of the Women’s Center for Specialized Care at Good Samaritan Hospital and Director of Research for Good Samaritan Hospital’s Division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Pauls serves on several committees involved in improving interventions for pelvic floor disorders and sexual dysfunction, and is frequently invited to speak locally and nationally.

James Pavelka MD

James Pavelka MD is Director of Gynecologic Oncology for Good Samaritan Hospital and TriHealth, and a member of Tristate Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Pavelka graduated from Denison University, Granville, Ohio in 1997, and from the College of Medicine at the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio in 2001. He also completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Ohio State University Medical Center in 2005, and then Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at UCLA/Cedars Sinai, Los Angeles, California in 2008. Dr. Pavelka joined the staff of Good Samaritan Hospital in August 2008. He is junior fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is also a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. His research interests include minimally invasive surgical techniques and the effects of obesity on gynecologic cancers and their treatments. Dr. Pavelka is subspecialty board eligible in Gynecologic Oncology.

William Schnettler MDWilliam Schnettler MD

William Schnettler MD is Chairman, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a staff Perinatologist, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Schnettler earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2006. He completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Aultman Hospital in 2010 and then completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Harvard Medical School / Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2013. Dr. Schnettler is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine. Kevin Schuler MDKevin Schuler MD

Kevin Schuler MD is a Gynecologic Oncologist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of Tristate Gynecologic Oncology. He completed his undergraduate degrees at Thomas More College and his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2006. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, serving as a Chief Resident in his final year of 2010. He also completed his fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013. Dr. Schuler is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics. His research interests include novel treatments in endometrial carcinoma and methodologies to improve resident surgical education.

Samantha Shirk DO

Samantha Shirk DO is a staff Perinatologist in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Shirk is a graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at TriHealth in 2019. She then went on to do her Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at Wake Forest.

Kathleen Smith MD, Ph.D. is a staff Perinatologist in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital. Sharon Steele MD

Julie Vieta MD

Julie Vieta MD is a Laborist and faculty member for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program at TriHealth, a partnership of Bethesda North and Good Samaritan Hospitals. Dr. Vieta primarily supervises the residents on L&D at Good Samaritan Hospital. She earned her medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999 and completed residency at Mesa General Hospital in Mesa, Arizona in 2001. Amanda Von Hoene MD

Amanda Von Hoene MD is a Laborist and faculty member for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program at TriHealth, a partnership of Bethesda North and Good Samaritan Hospitals. Dr. Von Hoene primarily supervises the residents on L&D at Bethesda North Hospital. She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville in 2007, completed an internship in General Surgery in 2008, and then completed OB/GYN Residency at TriHealth in 2012. Dr. Von Hoene is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Deward Voss MDDeward Voss MD

Deward Voss MD is a staff Perinatologist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Voss is a native of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine in 1983. He completed his internship and residency-training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine in 1987 and then completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Louisville in 1993. He remained at the University of Louisville and was on the faculty until he accepted his position on faculty at Good Samaritan Hospital in 1996. Dr. Voss is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Voss served in the United States Army from 1987 to 1991. He is the past President of the Kentucky Perinatal Association. Currently, he is a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Voss is subspecialty board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Jennifer Yeung DOJennifer Yeung DO

Jennifer Yeung DO is the Director of the Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Yeung is a graduate of Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois in 2010. She completed her residency at TriHealth in 2014 and then completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital under the direction of Dr. Rachel Pauls in 2017.

Alan Altman MD, MBA is a staff member for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program at Bethesda North Hospital and Assistant Program Director for the TriHealth Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency-Training Program. Also, Dr. Altman is Adjunct Clinical Faculty for the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and past President of the Cincinnati OB/GYN Society. Dr. Altman earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1987. He then performed his residency-training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bethesda Hospital. He is fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is a member of the Cincinnati Academy of Medicine, the Cincinnati OB/GYN Society, and the Ohio State Medical Association.

Sara Lyons MD

Sara Lyons MD is Chairperson, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a staff member for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency-Training Program at Bethesda North Hospital. Chelsea McKirnan MD

Dr. Reynolds earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2007. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at TriHealth in 2011 and then completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2014. Dr. Reynolds’ main interests include fertility preservation, obesity, and hysteroscopic surgery. Dr. Reynolds is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and board eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

James Sosnowski MD

James Sosnowski MD is a staff member for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency-Training Program at Bethesda North Hospital. Dr. Sosnowski was awarded a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1988. He then received his medical degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. Dr. Sosnowski completed his residency-training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bethesda Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. He also has a private practice. Dr. Sosnowski is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the Ohio State Medical Association and the Cincinnati Academy of Medicine.

She earned her medical degree at the Indiana University in 1988 then completed her residency in 1992 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
