The School to Work Program at TriHealth gives Cincinnati Public School students the opportunity to achieve real-life healthcare experience with many opportunities to succeed. This program allows students better exposure and a way to understand first-hand what careers in healthcare they may want to pursue in college. The program also prepares students over two years to transition into a part-time or full-time position at TriHealth.

Getting Actual Experience in the Medical Field

The students that are enrolled into the program are valued members of the team and formally employees of TriHealth. This experience provides the students to rotate into various departments and work with team members in positions such as:

  • Radiation Techs
  • Patient Transporters
  • Nurses
  • Surgical Techs
  • Pharmacists/Pharmacy Techs
  • O.R. Assistants
  • Unit Coordinators
  • Patient Care Assistants (PCA)
  • Maintenance Engineers
  • Physical Therapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Office Coordinators
